Thoughts on email marketing going into Q1

In Q1, I am considering less sales-focused email content and more relationship-building. 

Customers have been inundated with sales, discounts, and high consumerism at the end of 2025. 

Positioning brands as trustworthy and not just after clicks or dollars helps your audience see you holistically rather than a sales engine. 

Email Strategy I See Working In This Season

  • Storytelling

  • free, value-forward offers

  • refreshed lead magnets

  • email list building

  • brand awareness

  • “hero” or “expert” related content

  • small personal touches

If I were working on your email funnels, I would tell you that in January 2026 we should prioritize

  • Writing and batching content for emails

  • Double-checking funnels and automations

  • Tweaking any branding

  • Working on February campaigns for a larger push then
